New threat assessment system launched to strengthen Europe’s response to drug-related threats

The European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) today launched the new EUDA Health and Security Threat Assessment System (ETAS), designed to strengthen Europe’s preparedness for serious and emerging drug-related threats and to support coordinated responses. European Drug Alert System meeting to focus on preparedness and response to serious drug-related risks

This week, the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) is organising the second annual meeting of the European Drug Alert System (EDAS) to review progress, exchange experiences and set priorities for the year ahead. EUDA and international partners exchange knowledge on early warning and response to new psychoactive substances

Today, the EUDA met online with partners from the Western Balkans, European Neighbourhood Policy countries (1), Chile and Peru to exchange knowledge on early-warning systems (EWS) and responses to new psychoactive substances (NPS). Belgian Minister Bernard Quintin visits EUDA for talks on public safety and security

Today, the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) had the pleasure to welcome Mr Bernard Quintin, Minister of Security and the Interior, in charge of Beliris (1).
