Prague, 26.02.2024: As part of the technical notification process, the Ministry of Health received approval from the European Commission, which approved the inclusion of HHC, HHC-O and THCP in the list of addictive substances for the Czech Republic. The regulation adding these substances to the list has been signed by the Minister of Health and sent to the Prime Minister for signature.
Prague, 14 November 2023 - Illicit drug use among adults is stable and even declining among children and adolescents. However, the overuse of psychoactive medicines among the elderly and women is on the rise, according to a press release issued today by the National Drug Policy Coordinator.

30.06.2023, LISBON - New legislation published today grants Europe stronger powers to tackle current and future drug problems. The new Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council, revises the mandate of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), in order to keep pace with an ever more complex and rapidly changing drug phenomenon.
