Seminar in the Chamber of Deputies highlighted the risks of digital technologies

Prague, 12 May 2025 – The excessive use of digital technologies poses a new challenge to society. From a public health perspective, it has a number of negative impacts on individuals and their environment. On 6 May 2025, experts at the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic discussed the current challenges related to digital addiction, particularly among children. The discussion emphasised the importance of strengthening regulation and prevention measures.
A seminar on digital addiction for experts was held in the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament. Leading experts from the fields of neuroscience, addiction prevention, research and public administration attended the event.
