Addictions continue to affect a significant proportion of the Czech population. Attitudes towards substance use are changing only among the youngest age groups.
Prague, 27 August 2025 – The government has received the 2024 Summary Report on Addiction in the Czech Republic. The report summarises current trends in the use of various addictive substances, their effects, and the market for these substances. It also provides a comparison of the situation in the Czech Republic with that in other European countries.
