This week, the European Union Drugs Agency (EUDA) is organising the second annual meeting of the European Drug Alert System (EDAS) to review progress, exchange experiences and set priorities for the year ahead. Foreseen under the EUDA regulation, EDAS is a new operational service designed to strengthen preparedness and response to serious drug-related risks across Europe. EUDA and international partners exchange knowledge on early warning and response to new psychoactive substances

Today, the EUDA met online with partners from the Western Balkans, European Neighbourhood Policy countries (1), Chile and Peru to exchange knowledge on early-warning systems (EWS) and responses to new psychoactive substances (NPS). The meeting focused on sharing experiences, building capacity and supporting the development of national EWS.
